Indications
Cattle and sheep : - For the control of mature and developing lmmature forms of gastrointestinal round worms , lung worms , and some of tapeworms . - Adult liver flukes . - Ovicide against flukes and round worm eggs .

Dosage
- Cattle: Round worms : 7.5 mg albendazole per kg body weight ( Eq . to 0.3 ml of the product per kg B.W )
- Liver Flukes : 10 mg albendazole per kg body weight ( Eq . to 0.4 ml of the product per kg B.W ) Sheep: Round worms : 5 mg albendazole per kg body weight ( Eq . to 0.2 ml of the product per kg B.W )
- Liver Flukes : 7.5 mg albendazole per kg body weight ( Eq . to 0.3 ml of the product per kg B.W) .
- Withdrawal period : The withdrawal periods of albendazole are of 27 days before slaughtering for meat, and 3 – 5 days before milking for human consumption.
Adverse Reactions
High doses of albendazole may be embryotoxic and teratogenic.
Contra Indications
- Sheep and cattle producing milk for human consumption . - Animals known to be hypersensitive to albendazole . - It should be used with caution or be avoided at mating or during early pregnancy .
