Dosage
Administer one hour before or two hours after feeding milk or milk replacers .Mix fresh solution daily . Use as the sole source of drinking water .Poultry :- 1 gm powder / L . Drinking water ( 200 mg. Base / liter drinking water) .
Adverse Reactions
Diarrhea may occur . Hypersensitivity reactions. Discoloration of teeth in young animals .
Contra Indications
- Hypersensitivity to tetracyclines. Administration to animals with a serious impaired renal and/ or liver function.
Drug Interactions
- Concurrent administration with penicillines , quinolones and cephalosporines .

Indications
Oxytetracycline powder is used in cattles, sheep, horses, dogs, cats poultry and rabbits for the treatment of : • Respiratory tract infections in cattles . • Skin and soft tissue infections ( as wounds, abscesses ). • Gastrointestinal tract infections ( as enteritis in calves & sheeps ) • Urinary tract infections • Cholangitis, metritis, mastitis, prostatitis and pyodermatitis .
Warning & Precautions
Do not use for ruminants and use only for treatment of enteritis in calves & sheeps. Do not use for respiratory infections in cattles .
