Indications
Levamisol has a very rapid anthelementic effect on parasites expelling most worms within 24 hours.
It acts against:
- Sheep and cattle worms:
Trichostrongylus spp., Trichostrongylus axi., Haemonchus spp., Ostertagia spp., Nematodirus spp., Cooperia spp., Bunostomum spp., Strongyloides spp., Oesophagostomum spp.,Chabertia spp., Dictyocaulus spp.
- Pig parasites:
Hyostrongylus spp., Ascaris suum, Strongyloides ransomi , Oesophagostomum spp., Trichuris suis, Metastrongylus spp.
Immunostimulant; stimulate the immune system in immunologically incompetent animals. It can be used for the treatment of chronic infections and neoplastic diseases.

Operators should wear protective clothes.

Dosage
- For active ingredient (for S.C. injection):
Cattle, sheep and pigs: 7.5 mg/kg
- For whole product (for S.C. injection):
Sheep, cattle and pigs: 0.1ml/kg
Withdrawal time: Meat 14 days.
N.B: not used for animals producing milk.
Adverse Reactions
Transient coughing may occur.
