Indications
-Amprolium is highly effective in the treatment of coccidiosis of poultry, calves and lambs, it may be used also as an aid in the prevention of coccidiosis. Target species : Lambs , poultry , sheep , goats , dogs .
Warning & Precautions
-For a satisfactory diagnosis a microscopic examination of the feaces should be done before treatment. -Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.

Dosage
* Dogs : For pups or bitches: in food : 50 mg- 60 mg of Amprolium hydrochloride (equivalent to 250 mg- 300 mg of the whole product ) on food once daily for 7-12 days. * Sheep & Goats : Lambs: 55 mg /kgm of Amprolium hydrochloride (equivalent to 275 mg /kgm) of the whole product daily PO for 19 days. * Poultry : 6 gm / 50 L of Amprolium hydrochloride (equivalent to 30 gm / 50 L of the whole product ) of drinking water daily for 5-7 days .
Adverse Reactions
-In dogs, neural disturbances, depression, anorexia, and diarrhea have been reported long – term administration of Amprolium in high doses may result in thiamine (vitamin B1) deficiency.
Contra Indications
-Not recommended to be used for over 12 days in puppies. -Do not administer to poultry whose eggs are intended for human consumption, or to animals with impaired liver and / or renal functions
